Public initiatives of APK discussed in Pavlodar within framework of Year of Vocational Professions

As part of a working visit to Pavlodar region, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Marat Azilkhanov, held a number of events and meetings with heads of ethnocultural associations, public structures of the APK, youth, and labor collectives of the region, El.kz reports citing the press service of the Pavlodar region.

The main focus was on strengthening interethnic and social harmony, promoting initiatives related to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Year of Vocational Professions.

During the meeting with the heads of the region’s ethnocultural associations, discussions focused on strengthening interethnic harmony, conflict prevention, and the implementation of new approaches in the field of ethnomediation. The importance of the participation of ethnocultural associations in projects aimed at fostering civic identity and implementing social initiatives was emphasized.

A key part of the program was a meeting with activists of the “Assembly of Youth” movement. Topics included support for youth initiatives, the development of volunteerism, and the implementation of educational projects, including those aimed at training technical specialists.

As part of the visit, Marat Azilkhanov met with the team of Pavlodar Tram Management JSC named after D.D. Makhmudov, a partner in the APK’s youth employment project.

Discussions covered the enterprise’s involvement in socially significant programs, cooperation with ethnocultural associations, and engaging employees in regional public life. Special attention was given to the support of summer employment for school students as an effective tool for educating the younger generation through labor, responsibility, and respect for professions.

One of the initiatives of the Pavlodar regional Assembly was the presentation of an audio compilation titled “Words of Edification” dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev.
