Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageAstana hosted a conference on the project "Birgemiz: Areketyaqyty", which is being implemented for the first time by order of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.
The project is aimed at increasing the number of citizens participating in volunteer activities and increasing the contribution of volunteer organizations, groups and individual volunteers to the socio-economic development of the country.
"Birgemiz: areketyaqyty" provides for the creation of the National Volunteer Front Office and a set of measures to popularize and activate the volunteer movement among the population.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Committee on Civil Society Affairs, the national volunteer network, international and volunteer organizations, as well as active volunteers and regional front offices.
The participants expressed support for the project and proposed a number of initiatives for the further development of systematic work to support and promote volunteering in the country.
