Production in oil and gas engineering industry of Kazakhstan increased by 41.2%

In the first half of 2024, the volume of production in the oil and gas engineering industry of Kazakhstan increased by 41.2% and reached 27.6 billion tenge compared to 19.5 billion tenge for the same period in 2023, El.kz reports with reference to the Mechanical Engineering Development Directorate of the QazIndustry KCIE.

$1,356.9 thousand of investments were directed to the industry, which is 2.4 times more than in the same period last year ($557.1 thousand).

Recall that oil and gas engineering includes the production of technological equipment, as well as special complete technological lines and installations for the oil and gas industries, chemical and petrochemical industries. In Kazakhstan, the industry is represented by 48 enterprises, which employ more than 1700 people.
