The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan visited the exhibition of industrial goods, where samples of specialized machinery, electrical equipment, selection achievements in products of the textile, chemical, food, pharmaceutical industries, as well as silk, leather and jewelry were presented, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the importance of creating export-oriented enterprises in border regions.
They also stressed the need to implement joint measures, including planting trees at the bottom of the Aral Sea, to improve the environmental situation in the region.
