2023 year was a historic milestone for large-scale reforms initiated by the Head of State. The President's initiatives in the field of culture and ideology have become the defining practical principles of the Concept "A Just Kazakhstan". This was stated by the Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva during a briefing at the site of the Central Communications Service, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The Head of the department noted that this became possible thanks to the reforms of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"The initiatives of the President, voiced at various international and national events, at the second meeting of the National Kurultai and in the next Address of the Head of State, gave a new impetus to our industry. A number of important and necessary laws and regulations have been adopted that have a direct impact on the current spiritual and informational situation. In order to encourage the intellectual, creative, secular environment of society, concrete steps have been taken and great support has been provided by the President," the minister said.
According to her, in September of this year, the Head of State made a political decision to reorganize the Ministry of Culture and Information in order to systematically and effectively address all issues in this direction.
"In general, the activities of the Ministry cover such areas as culture, civil society, interethnic relations, religion and youth policy, which are important for the state and society," Aida Balayeva emphasized.
