President Tokayev receives Director of Institute of Diplomacy Candidate

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Director of the Institute of Diplomacy Candidate Alexey Volkov in connection with his nomination for the post of Deputy Secretary General of the International Organization for  Russian Language, El.kz reports via Akorda.

This organization was created to promote humanitarian initiatives, as well as the implementation of joint projects of the participating countries in the fields of culture, science and education. The founders are six states: Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Volkov's appointment to a high international position reflects Kazakhstan's desire to actively participate in humanitarian initiatives in the Eurasian space, as well as to strengthen interstate cooperation in the educational and cultural spheres.
