President Tokayev proposes to establish primary healthcare coalition

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev participates at the  international conference on “Primary health care policy and practice: implementing for better results” celebrating the 45th anniversary of Alma-Ata and 5th anniversary of Astana declarations on primary health care in Astana, El.kz cites Akorda .

“We are united in our commitment to improve health and well-being of people around the world. To achieve this, we need to work together. Probably, global provision of primary health care will benefit from the creation of a special structure for coordinating activities. I propose to create a coalition of countries on primary health care provision,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

“I am looking forward to today’s final statement of young delegates on the PHC policy and practice. I am confident that this statement will reflect the youth’s vision on this issue,” the President added.
