President Tokayev positively assesses work of Kazakhstani rescuers in Turkey

The Head of State received the Minister for Emergency Situations Yuri Ilyin.

The President was informed on the progress of search and rescue efforts in the quake-stricken regions of Turkey , El.kz reports citing Telegram channel of Akorda.

Despite the difficult conditions, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations show the highest level of professionalism and successfully perform the tasks in close cooperation with local authorities. To date, 4 survivors have been rescued.

The President also instructed the Government to send humanitarian aid to Syria through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
