President Tokayev instructs Government to adopt Concept of Safe Work until 2030

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reported on the problem of occupational injuries in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.

- The government needs to adopt the Concept of Safe Work until 2030 by the end of the year. It should be aimed at preventing and eliminating occupational risks in the workplace, the Head of State said.

He noted that on his instructions, the Government has developed a mechanism for social support for persons who have been employed in harmful working conditions for a long time.

- The issue has been discussed for a long time and now a solution has been found. The main parameters are as follows. Taking into account the significant contribution to the development of industries and the degree of damage to health, such workers will be paid a special social payment even before reaching retirement age, in particular, from the age of 55. I ask the Parliament to promptly consider the Government's proposals
