President Tokayev arrives in Bishkek to participate in OTS Summit

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Bishkek to participate in at the 11th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

President Tokayev was met at Bishkek airport “Manas” by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Administration of the President of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov.

The OTS Summit brings together the leaders of Turkic-speaking countries to discuss topical issues of regional cooperation and strengthen ties between member states. The heads of the five OTS member countries, as well as the leaders of the observer countries will attend the event.

At the Summit, the world leaders are expected to discuss issues of economic cooperation, cultural exchange and joint initiatives in the field of security.
