The Head of State noted the importance of creating a new body that will ensure strict and unswerving observance of the norms of the Constitution. Kazakh leader expressed confidence that the Constitutional Court will contribute to the establishment of the basic principles of democracy in the country and will make a great contribution to the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens.
The new body, in addition to the range of issues that were within the competence of the Constitutional Council, will also consider appeals from citizens who believe that certain regulatory legal acts violate their constitutional rights.
