President of Kazakhstan meets with Chairman of Central Election Commission

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nurlan Abdirov, El.kz reports.

During the meeting, the President was informed about the preparations and organization of the upcoming nationwide referendum, taking into account the changes in the legislation.

Nurlan Abdirov presented to the President the key aspects of the implementation of the development strategy of the Central Election Commission, aimed at improving and modernizing the electoral process in the country.

Following the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set a number instructions aimed at improving the work of the election commission and ensuring the transparency and legality of the referendum.
