President congratulates Asian Games winners

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the country's sportsmen on their medals won at the Asian Summer Games. The Head of State reminded that Rizabek Aitmukhan is the first Kazakh to become the world freestyle wrestling champion, El.kz reports .

Kazakh sportsmen hauled 10 gold, 22 silver and 48 bronze medals at the Asian Games. Kazakhstan shined in shooting, canoeing, cycling and jiu-jitsu.

The Head of State congratulated the national karate team as each of 8 karate fighters stepped onto the podium and won the first place in the team scoring.

The President highlighted significant contribution of coaches and other experts to the success of Kazakh athletes.
