Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland Alim Kirabayev met with the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Polish Sejm, elected by the results of elections on October 15 this year, Pawel Kowal, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting there was a thorough exchange of views on the bilateral agenda, as well as current international issues.
Prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed, in particular the exchange of visits by delegations of the legislative bodies of the two countries, including high-level visits.
Extensive information was shared with the interlocutor on the large-scale reforms carried out in Kazakhstan on the initiative of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, including measures taken in the field of human rights protection and the rule of law.
In turn, the Polish parliamentarian expressed a high interest in intensifying inter-parliamentary dialogue and organizing bilateral visits.
Highly appreciating the complex socio-political transformations on the way to building “Fair Kazakhstan”, Pawel Kowal noted the importance of our country in the modern architecture of international relations.
