Petition against vandalism in Kazakhstan launched by Almaty residents

An Almaty resident showed how vandals damage not only stones, but also signs and pointers on tourist routes in the mountains, El.kz reports.

I am convinced that a cultured person will never leave garbage, write names on a stone or a cultural monument, or offend the weak. I believe in the 'Broken Windows' theory, how the environment can affect  by human actions," he wrote on his Instagram.

In the post, the Almaty resident called on all Kazakhstanis to unite in the fight against uncultured people who consider it normal to damage other people's property, including state property.
