Petition against LGBT propaganda in Kazakhstan collects required number of signatures for consideration

The petition "We are against open and hidden LGBT propaganda in the Republic of Kazakhstan!" published on the official portal "E-Petition.kz" has collected the necessary number of signs for official consideration,El.kz reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to Article 90-4 of the Administrative Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan has accepted the petition for consideration. In accordance with Article 90-5 of the Administrative Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the period for consideration of the petition is up to 40 working days from the moment of its registration.

The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan is organizing the activities of a working group that includes representatives of interested parties, government bodies, and public associations. The process of considering the petition will proceed in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
