From January 1, Kazakhstan will begin the transition to per capita financing for citizens with disabilities, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Svetlana Zhakupova said at a press conference at the Central Communications Service,El.kz reports.

This innovation is aimed at improving the conditions and accessibility of services for people with disabilities.

In areas where there are no rehabilitation centers, it is planned to open new centers so that services are as close as possible to the place of residence of citizens.

"We try to ensure that every citizen has services close to their home. For this purpose, work is underway to train and improve the qualifications of social workers. Video lessons and lectures have been prepared and will be posted on the Skills.enbek platform. Currently, a platform is being created for the exchange of experience in order to attract activists to training and improve the quality of services provided," Zhakupova said.

The innovation also includes the creation of digital resources and educational materials aimed at social workers. This will help to improve their skills and the quality of service. Training video lessons and lectures will be available on the Skills.enbek online platform, which will allow social workers to gain the necessary knowledge and skills at any convenient time.
