The Financial Monitoring Agency (FMA) is currently conducting a preliminary investigation against the 1WIN online casino. This casino illegally operated not only in Kazakhstan, but also in other CIS countries, as well as abroad, El.kz reports.
This online platform was not only engaged in illegal gambling, but also provided bookmaker services without the appropriate license.
The FMA noted that financial transactions were carried out through Internet acquiring without the necessary authentication, which made it possible for even minors to participate in gambling. In 2023, the total turnover of online casinos amounted to approximately four billion tenge.
The authorities have already blocked access to the casino's website, and four organizers have been put on the international wanted list. Property and funds subject to confiscation in the amount of 1.5 billion tenge were seized. In addition, a Mercedes-Maybach and a Lamborghini Huracan were seized
