On media accreditation for 22nd international meeting on Syria within Astana process

The 22nd International Meeting on Syria within the Astana Process will take place in Astana on November 11-12, 2024, El.kz cites MFA.

It is planned that on the first day, bilateral and trilateral consultations among the delegations will be held, which will continue on the second day, followed by a plenary session and a press conference.

The meeting agenda includes the following issues:

• The development of the regional situation surrounding Syria;
• Efforts for a comprehensive settlement in the SAR;
• The “on-the-ground” situation in Syria;
• Confidence-building measures, including the release of hostages and the search for missing persons;
• The humanitarian situation in Syria and mobilization of international efforts to support post-conflict recovery in the SAR and create conditions for the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.

We invite media representatives to participate in the coverage of the plenary session of the 22nd International Meeting on Syria, which will take place on November 12 at the Rixos Hotel, located by D. Konaev Str. 7 (the exact start time of the session will be announced separately).
