New cases of Covid-19 has doubled in Kazakhstan

Half of the infections occur in Almaty.

The number of Covid-19 cases in Kazakhstan has almost doubled. During the day, 820 new cases were registered, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Number of COVID-19 cases by region:

• Almaty – 280;

• Nur-Sultan – 180;

• Shymkent – 87;

• Almaty region – 67;

• Karaganda region – 56;

• Zhambyl region – 35;

• Kyzylorda region – 19;

• Atyrau region – 17;

• Turkestan region – 13;

• East Kazakhstan region – 12;

• Mangystau region – 10;

• Kostanay region – 9;

• North Kazakhstan region – 9;

• Pavlodar region – 8;

• Akmola region – 8;

• West Kazakhstan region – 7;

• Aktobe region – 3.
