The Head of State decreed to appoint Nurlan Sauranbayev as the Transport Minister of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.

Nurlan Sauranbayev was born in 1968. He graduated from Al Farabi Kazakh State University.

He has served as mayor of Shymkent, Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Deputy Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the board of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
