Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageDeputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko held a meeting with Jaap Ora, Ambassador of Estonia to Kazakhstan, El.kz cites Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
Noting the dynamic and progressive development of relations, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation, both in the bilateral format and on various international platforms. Special attention was given to expanding trade and economic ties, as well as collaboration in the fields of transport, logistics, and digitalization.
The diplomats also reviewed the outcomes of the 7thmeeting of the Kazakhstan-Estonia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, held on January 23-24, 2025, in Tallinn (IGC is co-chaired by Marat Karabayev, Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan, and Margus Tsahkna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia).
Deputy Minister Vassilenko emphasized that the implementation of the agreements reached is crucial for deepening relations between Astana and Tallinn.
Both parties expressed their readiness to continue close partnership in areas of mutual interest and outlined the schedule of events for 2025, including preparations for high-level and top-level visits.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Vassilenko congratulated the Estonian diplomat on the 107thanniversary of Estonia’s independence, wishing peace, prosperity, and well-being to its people.
