The National Bank of Kazakhstan announced the start of sales of QULAN collection coins from the series "Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan" from July 27, El.kz reports.
It is noted that coins made of alloys cupronickel and nickel silver have identical images of the obverse and reverse.
The obverse of the coins in the right part depicts the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by a collage of animals and plants, on the left - the image of the trademark (logo) of Kazakh National Bankk and the inscriptions indicating the coinage - "2021" - and the denomination of the coins.
200 TEŃGE – on a coin made of cupronickel alloy of proof-like quality, 100 TEŃGE – on a coin made of silver alloy of brilliant uncirculated quality and nickel silver alloy.
There are circle inscriptions QAZAQSTAN ULTTYQ BANKI and NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN.
On the reverse of the coins there is an image of kulans against the background of the steppe landscape, in the upper part of the coins - the inscriptions EQUUS HEMIONUS (Latin name of the species), in the lower - QULAN.
