Muslim World League highly appreciates Kazakhstan’s leading role in establishing dialogue between representatives of various religions

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Madiyar Menilbekov met with the Secretary General of the Muslim World League Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key aspects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and MWL, including cooperation within the framework of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and exchanged views on promoting interreligious and intercivilizational dialogue at the international level.

At the same time, the Kazakhstani diplomat informed the head of MWL about important events taking place in Kazakhstan, including the First Forum of Young Religious Leaders, which was held in Astana.

For his part, Mohammad Al-Issa confirmed the full support of the MWL for the activities of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and continue joint work with its Secretariat in order to strengthen mutual respect and understanding between religions, achieve agreement and harmony in the world. Following the meeting, the parties will exchange visits at various levels in the near future in order to practically fill the bilateral agenda.
