The 5th World Nomad Games gather about 2000 athletes from more than 89 countries of the world. To ensure the health and safety of animals participating in the competition, the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan created a mobile veterinary service, El.kz reports.
The mobile veterinary unit serving horses, dogs and birds of prey is equipped with qualified specialists and the necessary equipment. For prompt communication with the participants, a call center has been created at 1355.
About 560 sports horses are registered, of which 100 represent Kazakhstan, as well as 160 horses from other countries to participate in competitions such as baiga, kokpar and kok-bori.
All animals are imported in accordance with uniform veterinary requirements, accompanied by veterinary certificates and permits. After the end of the games, the horses will be withdrawn from the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union without additional research if the necessary documents are available.
