Ministries of Economy of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan sign Protocol of Understanding and Cooperation

As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan, the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Protocol of Understanding and Cooperation, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.

The document was signed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Economy Nurlan Baibazarov from the Kazakh side, and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov from the Uzbek side.

The Protocol is aimed at improving the well-being of the population of the two states and stimulating economic growth through innovation, increasing competitiveness and creating new high-tech enterprises.
