Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov participated in the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which took place in Bishkek, El.kz reports.
The event was attended by the heads of defense ministries of the CSTO member states, the Secretary General of the Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov, and the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov.
The meeting participants discussed the military-political situation in the area of responsibility of the Organization, its impact on the security of the CSTO member states, and also reviewed documents aimed at improving the management organization of the CSTO Collective Forces," the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reports.
The defense ministers approved the Military Cooperation Development Plan for 2026-2030 and also ratified the Joint Training Plan for the management bodies and formations of the CSTO collective security forces for 2026.
