Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is working on creating his own digital clone that will be able to communicate with employees and take on some tasks, El.kz reports citing Bloomberg.
The AI version of the entrepreneur is being developed using Meta’s technologies for generating virtual characters. The system is is being trained on his mannerisms and tone as well as his public statements and thoughts on company strategy.
It is expected that employees will be able to interact directly with the virtual “leader.” The company believes this will improve internal communication and increase team engagement. Zuckerberg himself hopes this approach will help him establish closer feedback with employees.
At the same time, experts point to potential risks. These include a possible increase in the distance between top management and staff, as well as the limited ability of AI to account for emotions and make decisions that require empathy.
