Meeting of Energy Council held in Kazakh Government

A regular meeting of the Energy Council was held in the Government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, El.kz  reports citing primeminister.kz.

The participants discussed the issues of gas supply to new investment projects as part of the creation of high-value added clusters, ensuring the stability of gas supplies to the domestic market, as well as expanding and modernizing the relevant energy infrastructure.

Along with this, the issues of ensuring reliable and accident-free transportation of oil to the domestic market through trunk pipelines were considered.

Following the discussion, the Prime Minister gave a number of instructions to the state bodies.
