MediaLab Journalism Center opened in Astana

Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kydyrali together with the Minister of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek took part in the opening of the MediaLab Journalism Center, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The center, located in the Kazakhstan Institute of Social Development under the Ministry of Information and Social Development, has created the necessary conditions for improving the skills of media specialists.

"As you remember, at the Astana Media Week forum, we said that we would open a center that systematically studies the media industry, improves the skills of specialists in the field of journalism and communications. Today is the day. The MediaLab Center is aimed at scientific study of media consumption patterns, advanced training of journalists, especially journalists in the region, improvement of industry journalism, development of professional skills of press secretaries", Darkhan Kydyrali noted.
