Measures to expand lending to economy considered by Government

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov held a meeting of the Economic Policy Council, which considered issues of lending to the economy, El.kz cites primeminister.kz.

The discussion was attended by Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Pirmatov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan Elena Bakhmutova, First Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Regulation and Development of Financial Market Nurlan Abdrakhmanov and others.

Thus, proposals to improve access to credit resources for entrepreneurs working in energy, agriculture and other sectors were considered.

Following the meeting, Prime Minister instructed the economic bloc of the Government to finalize the list of priority sectors and promising projects, as well as to further analyze the proposed measures in view of their impact on the economy.
