A round table was held in the capital of Oman to discuss the annual State of the Nation Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism”, El.kz cites MFA.
The event was attended by representatives of expert and analytical communities and local journalists of Oman. During his speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Tumatov informed the Omani experts about the main points of the recent Address of the Head of State. He emphasized that the President’s Address is a real set of political, social and economic measures aimed at solving urgent tasks for the development of the country, building a just society and protecting human rights.
In addition, information about the upcoming national referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant on October 6, 2024 was presented.
Meanwhile, the Kazakh Ambassador noted the potential for further development of Kazakh-Omani relations, in light of the stated plans for further development of Kazakhstan’s economy.
The audience was particularly interested in the foreign policy course of Kazakhstan, information about the upcoming national referendum on the construction of nuclear power plant, the efforts of the Kazakh side to create favorable conditions for foreign investors, development of energy, transport, logistics and financial sectors.
