Main New Year’s tree lit up in Astana

A solemn ceremony of lighting up the main New Year’s tree of the capital took place in Astana. About 5000 people attended the event, El.kz reports with reference to the city akimat.

25-meter high tree is decorated with light decorative snowflakes and ornaments, toys, strobe lights, garlands, etc. A 2-meter light snowflake is on the top of the spruce tree.

A concert program, a New Year's fair, slides, an ice rink, a labyrinth, a food court, thematic photo zones, etc. were organized for residents and guests on the territory of the EXPO.
