One of the key initiatives will be the introduction of paid entry to environmental zones for cars that do not meet the established eco-standards.
It is also planned to increase the cost of parking, which should stimulate the transition of citizens to public transport. In addition, the akim stressed the importance of developing underground and ground high-speed public transport, as well as the construction of transport hubs to increase mobility and reduce the traffic load in the city.
The proposed measures are aimed at improving the environmental situation in Almaty and creating a comfortable urban environment.
