Kazakhstan is demonstrating confident progress in the field of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, according to globally recognized AI expert and entrepreneur Lee Kai-Fu,El.kz reports.
In his view, the country has focused its efforts on four strategic areas that define its position in the international digital agenda: the shift toward intelligent agents, the development of domestic computing resources, the launch of the open-source language model AlemLLM, and the consolidation of Kazakhstan’s role as a regional leader in AI.
“This will make Kazakhstan a leader in Central Asia and in Turkic AI, and could help neighboring countries build a future Turkic model that boosts the economy of the entire region,” the expert emphasized.
The presence of its own AI infrastructure and a strong focus on long-term digitalization strategy are strengthening Kazakhstan’s position as a technological hub in the region.
