Kazakhstan attracts large American companies for investment. Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov took part in a round table with representatives of the Kazakh-American Business Council (USKBZC), which was attended by the heads of such large American companies as Chevron, Boeing, Google, Brownstein, ITIC, Bechtel, headed by Senior Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce, Husha Choksi, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Alibek Kuantyrov noted that cooperation between Kazakhstan and American business giants has been going on for three decades and investments from the United States to the country are growing from year to year.
"In 2022, the gross inflow of US foreign direct investment in Kazakhstan increased by 82% and amounts to $5.1 billion. The United States is traditionally one of the three largest investors in the economy of Kazakhstan," said the head of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
