Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageA new laboratory specializing in modeling the qualitative composition of groundwater and surface water was opened at the Scientific Center Sustainable Development and Rational Nature Management" of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. The main goal of the laboratory is to assess the pollution of water resources and predict changes based on mathematical models, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The laboratory analyzes water for the presence of various pollutants, which makes it possible to identify the degree of impact on the environment and take measures to reduce this impact. According to the head of the laboratory, Lyudmila Pavlichenko – Doctor of Geographical Sciences, such studies help protect public health and prevent the spread of infections through water.
