23-year-old model Alina Mukhametgaliyeva from the North Kazakhstan region is on the cover of Japanese Vogue, El.kz reports
Alina, originally from the village of Talshik, began her modeling career during the pandemic. After returning home, she decided to try at modeling.
Winning a local modeling school competition and participating in regional ad campaigns led to a contract with an agent from Almaty. Today, Alina collaborates with global brands such as Uniqlo and New Balance, proudly representing Kazakhstan on the international stage.
Her story has inspired thousands. “A girl from a Kazakh village — a symbol of strength and talent,” a post on Instagram reads.
