Kazakhstanis win a prize at 2023 Horseback Archery World Cup

From December 15 to 18, the final stage of the World Cup in horseback archery (jamby atu) was held in the city of Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia, El.kz reports with reference to the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture.

The national team of Kazakhstan consisting of 3 athletes: Yeralkhan Aykoz, Abzal Tulybekov, Aitbek Sarybay and head coach: Eldos Badashev took part in the competition. The national team of Kazakhstan took second place in the team competition.

The tournament is held every two years. Throughout the year, qualifying competitions are held in different countries of the world, according to the results of which the 11 best teams get the opportunity to take part in the final stage. Our national team won a ticket to the tournament in Turkey last year. In total, representatives of 11 countries (USA, Canada, Thailand, Kuwait, Mongolia, Iran, Indonesia, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan) participated in the tournament.
