The majority of Kazakh citizens view the country’s development path positively. According to a June study by the Institute of Public Policy, 79.4% of respondents believe that Kazakhstan is moving in the right direction, El.kz reports citing the Institute of Public Policy’s Telegram channel.
A positive trend is also observed in the assessment of the socio-economic situation. In June, 73.6% of those surveyed described the current situation as favorable. This trend may reflect a growing sense of stability in how the population perceives the current state of affairs.
Additionally, 76.2% of respondents gave a positive evaluation of the political environment. This level of satisfaction underscores the importance of political stability and effective domestic policy.
“A high level of positive public perception in the country is largely due to a combination of political, socio-economic, and psychological factors. These include GDP growth of around 6%, the construction and launch of new infrastructure and social facilities, as well as the repair and modernization of the housing and utilities sector and transport infrastructure,” the statement reads.
