Kazakhstani tennis player Yulia Putintseva reached the quarterfinals of the Masters in Toronto, El.kz reports.
She beat U.S. Alison Riske-Amritraj with a score of 6:3, 7:5 to seal a spot in the quarterfinals
The duration of the meeting was 1 hour and 37 minutes. During the second set, Putintseva lost 2-5, but then took five games in a row.
Next Putintseva will face another U.S. tennis player Jessica Pegula, the World No 7, in the women’s singles.
