Kazakh chess player expressed gratitude to the fans

Kazakhstani chess player Zhansaya Abdumalik became the bronze medalist of the 44th International Chess Olympiad in India, El.kz reports with reference to the Sports.kz.

Another representative of Kazakhstan IM Bibisara Assaubayeva,18, was placed 4th among Board 2 players.

WIM Xeniya Balabayeva was 16th among Board 3 players, while IM Guliskhan Nakhbayeva was ranked 11th among Board 4 players.

"We didn't play with the strongest squad, but the girls fought decently, - the division from 3rd to 5th place. This is the best result of the women's team at the Olympics. According to the results of the Olympics, we qualified for the World Team Championship. I'm sure we'll show an even stronger game there.

Also, from the bottom of my heart I want to congratulate the women's team of Ukraine on a brilliant victory! In this difficult time for the country, such a victory is priceless. Thank you to all our fans for their support and faith in us!" she posted on her Instagram page.
