Kazakh athlete Sayramkez Akmolda
won a silver medal in the weight category up to 67 kg at the Asian Weightlifting Championship held in Tashkent, El.kz reports citing Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan.
In the "snatch" exercise, he successfully lifted 126 kg.
Men's results in the 67 kg weight category:
Gold medal - Ri Won Ji - 317 kg (137+180);
Silver medal - Sayramkez Akmolda - 292 kg (126+166);
Bronze medal - Teravat Ratfet - 286 kg (128+158).
The competition will last until February 10, attracting 192 athletes from 34 countries
