Kazakhstani wins 19th International Violin Competition

Sagadat Omargazin, a student of the Akhmet Zhubanov repuplican Kazakh specialized music school for gifted children won the 19th International Violin Competition, El.kz cites press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information.

During the event, the musician performed works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and others.

Professors of higher music academies from  Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Ukraine highly appreciated the training of young artist and especially noted the high pedagogical level of his mentor - Viktor Bardashov.

It should be noted that the event was held as part of the International Festival Ost-West Musikfest in in St.Pölten.

Contestants from South Korea, Ukraine, Japan, China, and Kazakhstan also took part in the competition.
