Kazakhstani becomes world champion in CrossFit

48-year-old athlete from Petropavlovsk Roman Jantleev won the title of champion in CrossFit on the Dutch island of Aruba, where the world championship of this sport was held, El.kz reports

This year, more than 300 athletes from 35 countries competed for the title of the strongest in different categories. Our compatriot performed in the age category of 45 - 49 years. 

Roman Dzhantleev is a prize-winner of republican boxing competitions, a candidate of a master of sports in sambo, armwrestling, powerlifting, a master of sports of international class in hand-to-hand combat. In 2014, he discovered CrossFit. Since then, he has participated in competitions of 8 countries of the world.
