Kazakhstani artist paints Jennifer Lopez on carpet

Famous Kazakhstani artist Assel Sabyrzhankyzy, better known under the pseudonym Assol, painted  a portrait of global star Jennifer Lopez created on a carpet. This format combines the traditional carpet with modern graffiti techniques, forming an unusual artistic fusion, El.kz reports.

The artist used a mixed technique of contemporary and traditional art. She worked right in the courtyard of her home with a baby in her arms.

Later, the artist attended the global star’s concert in Almaty. However, it remains unknown how J.Lo reacted to the gift, as the continuation of the story has not yet been published.
