Kazakhstan women's youth rugby-7s team wins silver in Tashkent

Kazakhstani rugby players delivered an outstanding performance at the CASA Tashkent Rugby-7s international tournament. The country's youth women's national team claimed silver medals, El.kz reports.

During the group stage, the Kazakh players confidently secured first place in their pool, winning 4 out of 5 matches and achieving the best points difference (+36). In a final, the team  lost to the experienced Sri Lankan national side.

This result serves as a clear testament to the high level of training within the next generation of Kazakhstani rugby. The young athletes proved they could hold their own against older and more seasoned opponents.
