The TV channel "Qazsport" will broadcast the XXX World Winter Universiade live, El.kz reports.
As reported on the Instagram of the channel, on January 12-22, the XXX World Winter Universiade will be held in the American city of Lake Placid. 1443 (832 men, 811 women) students from 50 countries of the world will compete for 86 sets of medals in 12 sports.
The honor of Kazakhstan will be defended by 78 athletes in 10 sports.
The national team of Kazakhstan showed its best result at the home Universiade-2017 in Almaty. Then national athletes won 11 gold, 8 silver and 17 bronze (36 in total) medals.
In the medal standings, Kazakhstan became the second after the Russian team.
