Kazakhstan to hold the World Judo Championship in 2027. It was stated during the meeting of Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabosynov with IJF President, Mr Marius Vizer, El.kz reports.
This is a significant event for the country, providing Kazakh athletes with an excellent opportunity to strengthen their positions before the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
In addition, Kazakhstan will become a place for the representation of the Academy of the International Judo Federation, which will give impetus to the growth of the professional level of athletes and coaches.
It is expected that this will strengthen Kazakhstan's position in world judo and help attract young talents to the sport.
