The European Commission resumes the procedure for including Kazakhstani fish enterprises in the list of companies entitled to export their products to the countries of the European Union, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The corresponding letter on the restoration of confidence in the Kazakhstan system of veterinary control was sent to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Thus, the list of domestic enterprises that will have the right to export their products to the EU will be expanded. To date, there are 17 Kazakhstani companies in the Register.
It should be noted that in 2018, the European Commission conducted an audit of enterprises for the production of fish products, following which 11 recommendations were given, including on the control of the country's veterinary service. Subsequently, the Kazakh side sent a detailed report on the implementation of the recommendations.
As part of the further strengthening of relations with Kazakhstan and the expansion of the list of exported products to the EU countries, the European Commission also sent a questionnaire on honey, which in the future can be exported to the European market.
